Day 1: Mombasa - Tsavo West
Pick up from your Mombasa hotel early in the morning and drive through Nairobi - Mombasa highway with a brief stopover en-route for refreshments. Arrive Tsavo West in time for the mid-morning game viewing en-route to Ngulia Safari Lodge or Ngulia Bandas for check-in, lunch and a short rest. Later proceed for afternoon game drive which includes a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary to chance spotting the rare and endangered black rhino among other animals. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tsavo West - Taita Hills Game Sanctuary/Salt Lick
After an early breakfast check out of your accommodation and with game viewing en-route drive to Mzima Springs - a natural spring that forms a pool of crystal clear water which is inhabited by hippos, crocodiles and fish which can be observed from an underground glass compartment. Leave Mzima Spring and drive to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary/Salt Lick arriving in time for lunch at Taita Hills Game Lodge. After lunch transfer to Sarova Salt lick game lodge for a short rest before we go out for afternoon game drive until late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Salt lick game lodge.
Day 3 : Taita Hills Game Sanctuary/Salt Lick - Mombasa
Early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast enjoy mid-morning game viewing then drive out of Taita Hills Game Sanctuary and drive to Mombasa where you will arrive in the afternoon.
